Christian Wüster

Christian Wüster (born July 27, 1958 ) is a German endocrinologist and osteologist .

Life

Wüster studied chemistry , physiology and psychology at the University of Sheffield from 1977 . In 1978 he began studying medicine at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen , where he completed his physics and the first state examination. From 1980 to 1981 he was a DAAD scholarship holder at the University of Glasgow and then completed his 2nd and 3rd state examinations at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich in 1982 . In 1983 he did his doctorate in Munich on thyroid antibodies.

Wüster obtained his license to practice medicine in 1984 and became a specialist in internal medicine in 1990 , followed by endocrinology in 1991. After completing his specialist training at Heidelberg University , he took on the post of senior physician for internal medicine, endocrinology and diabetology there in 1994 . 1997 Wüster became chief physician in the rehabilitation clinic in Bad Herrenalb / Karlsruhe . From 2000 to 2003 he was medical specialist for growth hormone at Novo Nordisk in Mainz. He then took over a practice in Mainz in 2003, which today operates as the Hormone and Metabolism Center Prof. Wüster MVZ GmbH . 2004 with the additional designation osteology (DVO), 2005 the additional designation preventive medicine (ECARE).

Wüster is an endocrinological consultant doctor at the Catholic Clinic (since 2008) and has a teaching position for osteology at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz .
