Christian von Weiler
Christian Ernst von Weiler or Christian Friedrich von Weiler († 1717 in Vienna ) was a kurbrandenburgischer chief of artillery and Imperial Major General .
Life
origin
He was a son of the Brandenburg Major General and Chief of Artillery, Ernst Bernhard von Weyler (1620–1693), and Sophie Fritzen, who was ennobled in 1691 .
career
Weiler took part in the Swedish-Brandenburg War on the Kurbrandenburg side with his father . He became Oberzeugmeister in 1683 and also took part in the Great Turkish War and the War of the Palatinate Succession . When he was promoted to colonel in 1690, he also became chief of the Prussian artillery. He held this position until 1698. In that year he sat down with his mistress, a Baroness von Blumenthal into Switzerland from. Afterwards he went into imperial service. On May 31, 1707 he was promoted to Sergeant General .
In 1712 Weiler owned houses in Vienna . Most recently he was in command of Wroclaw .
Frederick I granted him in 1712 at his request out salvum conductum , subject to the condition of the temporary stay and not be allowed to take revenge on his wife in order to Berlin to come and the affairs of his heritage Falkenrehde to regulate.
family
Weiler's first marriage to Eleonore Fritzen was in Berlin. In Breslau he married the patrician daughter Dorothea Sophie Brehmer for the second time . As a widow, the latter married Lieutenant Colonel Freiherr Gustav von Horn.
