Christiane Lack
Christiane Lack (born August 5, 1939 ) is a French film editor .
Life
Christiane Lack attended the Institut des hautes études cinématographiques and initially worked as a script girl . At the end of the 1960s, she gained her first experience in the field of film editing as an assistant on Philippe de Broca's comedy Pack the Tiger by the Tail (1969) with Yves Montand . For the film drama Nachtblende (1975) with Romy Schneider in the lead role, Lack received a nomination for the César Film Prize, first awarded in 1976, in the Best Editing category , but was subject to editor Geneviève Winding .
Also in René Clément's thriller The whole big thing (1975) paint was responsible for the cut. This was followed by films such as Liebeserwachen (1977) with Jodie Foster , Gabriel Aghion's La Scarlatine (1983) and the documentary Open Letter to Jean-Luc Godard (1988), in which Lack was involved as editor. From 2003 she was often used in short films. Most recently she worked on Karin Albou's film drama My Little Jerusalem (2005) with Fanny Valette and Elsa Zylberstein .
