Christine Prober

Christine Prober (* 1941 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress who lives in Berlin .

Live and act

After graduating from high school, Christine Prober began studying at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts , but then switched to acting and made her debut at the Vienna Ateliertheater . She then worked at the Theater in der Josefstadt , as well as in several years of engagements at the Lower Saxony State Theater in Hanover , at the State Theater in Nuremberg and at the State Theaters of Berlin ( Schiller Theater ).

Christine Prober guested a. a. at the Komödie Basel , the Freie Volksbühne Berlin , the Hamburger Kammerspiele , the Berlin Renaissance Theater and the Frankfurt Theater im Zoo.

She has appeared on theater tours as Claire in J. Genet's Die Maiden , as Blanche in T. Williams Endstation Sehnsucht , as Mary in E. O'Neill's One Long Day Journey into the Night and as H. Ibsen's Hedda Gabler .

Christine Prober was married to Günther Tabor . The couple has three sons.
