Christine Rudolf

Christine Rudolf (born February 2, 1965 in Freiberg am Neckar ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1996 to 2011 she was a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Freiberg, Christine Rudolf completed her studies in politics , economics and linguistics in Stuttgart in 1994 with a Magister Artium . She then worked for a publishing house and from 1995 to 1996 she was a personal assistant to Birgit Kipfer, member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament .

Rudolf is married to Ulrich Maurer and has two sons.

In 2011 she wrote her doctorate on “Gender Budgeting in State Parliaments”. In 2011 she was a lecturer at the University of Potsdam at the Chair of Political Science, Administration and Organization, and since 2012 at the Berlin University of Technology and Economics in the Economics and Politics course.

Rudolf was a council member of Attac Germany for Gender AG from 2010 to 2016 . Since 2015 she has been the managing director of the Schokofabrik eG cooperative . She is also a member of the scientific advisory board of efas , a network of feminist economics.

Since 2014 she has been researching questions of feminist macroeconomics together with Mascha Madörin , Silke Chorus, Bettina Haidinger, Käthe Knittler and Tove Soiland .

politics

In 1984 Rudolf joined the SPD and became the spokeswoman for the Jusos. In the same year she was elected to the Freiberg am Neckar municipal council, to which she belonged until 1990. From 1994 to 1999 she was a member of the district assembly of the district Ludwigsburg , where they 1996 SPD faction was elected Deputy Chairman of. From 1996 to 2011 she was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg. There Rudolf represented constituency 14 (Bietigheim-Bissingen) and was a member of the finance committee.
