Christoph Burkhard (born November 9, 1984 in Aichach ) is a German soccer player .

Career

In his youth, the midfielder and defender played for TSV Hollenbach from 1992 to 1995 , for BC Aichach from 1995 to 1997 and for FC Augsburg from 1997 to 2000 . In the summer of 2000 he moved to TSV 1860 Munich , where he was initially part of the U17 and later the U19. In the 2003/04 season Burkhard was in the squad of the U23 Löwen in the Bayernliga . After the promotion at the end of the season he was an integral part of the regional league team .

For the 2006/07 season he was appointed to the professional squad and came on August 18, 2006 for his first appearance in professional football when he was substituted on in the second division game of the sixties against Kickers Offenbach . During the season he played a total of 14 games. In the two following seasons, however, he came to no further use in the first team, although he was nominally a member of the professional squad. Instead, he was again a regular in the U23. In total, Burkhard played 149 times for the second team of the Lions and scored five goals. After the 2008/09 season , his expiring contract was not extended.

He then moved to third division club Wacker Burghausen . With Burghausen, Burkhard was relegated to the Bavarian Regional League in summer 2014 and remained loyal to the club even after relegation. After eight years in Burghausen, Burkhard finally left the club to join FC Pipinsried in the Bavarian regional league .
