Christoph Eisenlohr

Christoph Jakob Friedrich Eisenlohr (born December 15, 1775 in Karlsruhe ; † July 21, 1852 Karlsruhe) was a lawyer and judge who had been in the Baden state service since 1800 . He was also a member of the Baden state parliament .

Christoph Eisenlohr was the son of Sigmund Eisenlohr, accountant and orphanage administrator in Pforzheim , and Katharina Christine née Eisenlohr. He married Caroline born Reinhard on June 18, 1804 in Karlsruhe. The children Otto and Max came from this marriage.

Life

Eisenlohr entered the High Charles School in Stuttgart on October 17, 1788 . In 1790 he left school and in 1791 began an apprenticeship as a clerk with his father in the orphanage in Pforzheim. In 1793 he passed the scribbler test and then studied law at the University of Göttingen , where he passed the test in 1799. In 1800 he became a legal trainee and on August 16, 1803 he was appointed Oberamts assessor at the Landamt Karlsruhe . On October 23, 1807 he was promoted to bailiff and on January 20, 1810 to senior bailiff. On 25 August 1815 he was Councilor and on March 6, 1819 Obervogt. Appointed to the Privy Council 3rd class on February 23, 1822, he was transferred to the Supreme Justice Department on November 3, 1822 as Ministerialrat. On December 18, 1830 he became Privy Councilor 2nd class and on December 7, 1834 court judge at the court court of the Middle Rhine District in Rastatt . On October 22, 1840 he was retired, but on September 28, 1842 for the business of abolishing old taxes , i.e. H. the tithing , reactivated.

Political activity

In 1819/20 and 1822/23 he was a member of the Baden state parliament during the 1st and 2nd electoral periods for the city electoral district 8 (city of Karlsruhe).
