Christoph Gusbeth

Christoph Carl Gusbeth (born March 15, 1842 in Kronstadt ; † June 5, 1913 there ) was a Transylvanian German politician .

Life

Born as the son of a coat tailor , Gusbeth studied mining in Schemnitz and then history and Protestant theology in Vienna and Jena after attending the Kronstadt evangelical Honterus high school . During his studies in 1860 he became a member of the Arminia fraternity in the castle cellar . After completing his studies, he became a teacher in Kronstadt in 1863 , where he last worked at the secondary school. From 1881 to 1884 he was a Kronstadt member of the Hungarian Reichstag . He was involved in the presbytery, in the city administration and was for a long time chairman of the Kronstadt association of old fraternities .
