Christoph Ludwig von Hochwächter

Christoph Ludwig von Hochwächter (* 1769 ; † February 21, 1838 ) was a New West Pomeranian landowner and politician.

Life

Christoph Ludwig von Hochwächter was the second son of Christoph Andreas von Hochwächter (1730–1776), landlord on Niederhof near Brandshagen and Gustow and Drigge on Rügen . He was a landowner on Groß-Miltzow in Swedish Pomerania , later New Western Pomerania .

As a representative of the third estate (rural communities), Hochwächter belonged to the 3rd Provincial Parliament of the Province of Pomerania in 1829 .

He was married to Pauline von Mühlenfels (1776-1859), a daughter of Bernhard Gottlieb von Mühlenfels († 1799). Her sisters were Charlotte von Kathen and Henriette, Friedrich Schleiermacher's wife . The eldest daughter Julie von Hochwächter (1790–1871) was the last head of the Elisabeth Hospital in Berlin .
