Christoph Muth (politician)

Christoph Muth (in official documents Christoph Muth III. ) (Born November 29, 1830 in Salz ; † April 25, 1904 ibid) was a Hessian politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Christoph Muth was the son of the farmer Johannes Muth (* 1803) and his wife Margarethe, née Sill. Courage was evangelical. On June 26, 1859, he married Elisabetha, née Herchenröder (1836–1916).

Muth was mayor of Salz. From 1875 to 1904 he was a member of the district committee of the Lauterbach district and founder and head of the salt savings and loan fund .

He was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates from 1884 to 1896. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen 10 / Herbstein-Ulrichstein .
