Friedrich Habicht

Friedrich Theophil Habicht (born December 9, 1803 in Engelrod , † August 25, 1876 in Bad Ems ) was a Hessian liqueur manufacturer and politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Friedrich Habicht was the son of the farmer and mayor Christian Ludwig Habicht (1773-1856) and his wife Anna Katharina, née Franck. Habicht, who was a Protestant, married Anna Maria née Noß. He was an economist and postman in Engelrod and founder of the local liqueur factory.

From 1862 to 1866 and again from 1872 to 1876 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Upper Hesse 7 and 10 / Herbstein . He represented liberal-conservative positions.
