Services

Steinebach deals with questions of applied developmental psychology in adolescence, health promotion and resilience as well as individual development in teams and complex organizations . As a basis for research, prevention and intervention, he developed a complex, dynamic system of resilience. In this model, physical, emotional and cognitive processes are described using the cybernetic theory of adaptive self-optimizing systems. For the analysis of relevant external factors, environments are differentiated in terms of ecological development psychology. According to this model, the aim of systemic processes is to optimize the person-environment fit through internal system changes or external environmental design. Basic needs turn out to be subjective benchmarks and test variables for resilience-oriented optimization.
