Christophe Vetter

Christophe Vetter (* 1990 in Munich ) is a German - French actor .

Life

Christophe Vetter grew up bilingual with German and French as his mother tongue. Since he was four he sang and danced in the choir, and since he was eight he played theater. For several years he received singing lessons from the Bulgarian mezzo-soprano Veneta Radoeva , who works as an opera and concert singer . As a teenager he appeared in theater productions at the Free State Theater of Bavaria. In 2008 he appeared in the Munich Schauburg in the musical revue Heut 'Nacht .

He completed his acting studies from 2010 to 2014 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . In 2013 he won the 1st prize in the “ Chansoncategory at the national singing competition .

During his studies he played at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater (2011), at the Schaubühne Berlin (2012, as Jaques Roux in Marat / Sade , director: Peter Kleinert ) and at the BAT-Studiotheater (2012/13). In February 2014 he performed as a chansonnier in the bar of every reason . In June 2014 he played in Ballhaus Ost a . a. together with Anton von Lucke , Vincent Redetzki and Anton Weil in the theater production Titus based on motifs from Shakespeare .

From 2014 to 2016 Vetter was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Braunschweig State Theater . There he played Laertes in Hamlet (director: Stephan Rottkamp ), La Hire in Die Jungfrau von Orleans (director: Stephan Rottkamp), the robber Barbavano and Baron von Campotasso in the Offenbach opera Die Banditen (director: Michael Talke ) and the roles of Müller / Leer in a stage version of the Remarque novel Im Westen nothing new . In the 2017/18 season he was a guest at the Münchner Kammerspiele in Marta Górnicka's choral piece Jedem Das seine . In 2018, he played a leading role in the production of The Survey by Franz Wanner in the “X Shared Spaces” series . In the 2018/19 season he was the French piccolo in the operetta production Im Weiße Rößl at the Free State Theater of Bavaria .

Vetter also appeared in front of the camera in several film roles. For the docu-drama Die Invisbaren - We want to live (2017) he was intended for the supporting role of Manfred, which was then played in the final version by Bálint Tóth .

Vetter lives in Berlin .
