Christudas Rajappan

Christudas Rajappan (born November 25, 1971 in Adimalathura , India ) is an Indian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Trivandrum .

Life

Christudas Rajappan studied at the Pontifical Seminary of Pune and received on 25 November 1998, the sacrament of Holy Orders . He initially worked as a parish administrator in Neerody before he became secretary of the Bishop of Trivandrum Maria Callist Soosa Pakiam in 1999 , which he remained until 2001. In 2009 he received his doctorate in missiology at the Pontifical Urban University and then worked as a lecturer and spiritual director at the Pontifical Seminary of St. Joseph . In 2013, Rajappan Regens became a member of the St. Vincent Seminary in Menamkulam .

On February 2, 2016 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Avitta Bibba and auxiliary bishop in Trivandrum . The Archbishop of Trivandrum, Maria Callist Soosa Pakiam, donated him episcopal ordination on April 3 of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Quilon , Stanley Roman , and the Bishop of Neyyattinkara , Vincent Samuel .
