Chrząchów is a village in the rural municipality of Końskowola in southeastern Poland . It is located on the Kurówka in the Powiat Puławski of the Lublin Voivodeship , near Kurów .
history
The first written mention of the place comes from the 15th century , in 1430 the knight Mikołaj was recorded as the owner of the village. However, the archaeological excavations suggest that the site was formed between the 10th century and the 13th century . In 1827 the village had 335 inhabitants.
During the First World War , Chrząchów was completely burned down by Austrian troops. During the Second World War , it was bombed by the German Air Force on September 10, 1939 .
