Chulla was a country town in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Chulla was the second largest town in the Municipio Vinto in the province of Quillacollo . The village was at an altitude of 2556 m between the city limits of Quillacollo and Vinto on the left eastern bank of the Río Pairumani . Since the 2012 census, Chulla is no longer listed as an independent town, but part of the city of Vinto.

The climate in the plateau of Cochabamba is a subtropical high altitude climate, which is characterized more by fluctuations in precipitation than by temperature differences over the course of the year (see Cochabamba climate diagram).
