The Municipio Vinto is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

The Municipio Vinto is one of five Municipios in the Province of Quillacollo . It borders on the province of Ayopaya to the northwest , the Municipio Sipe Sipe to the west and south , and the Municipio Quillacollo to the east and north .

The central place of the municipality is Vinto with 40,786 inhabitants in the south-eastern part of the municipality. ( 2012 census )
