Cinematic Sunrise was a pop-punk / pop-rock band from Detroit , Michigan , United States .
history
Cinematic Sunrise was founded at the turn of the year from 2005 to 2006 as a side project by Chiodos singer Craig Owens and keyboardist Bradley Bell in Detroit , Michigan . The two guitarists Nick Martin and Bryan Beeler, bassist Marcus VanKirk and drummer Dave Shapiro joined us as other musicians .
On May 13, 2008, the band's only production was released, an EP entitled A Coloring Storybook and Long Playing Record via Equal Vision Records . This reached a position in the official US charts , where the EP could only last for a week. The EP was reissued in October 2008 by Equal Vision Records, as the first edition of 10,000 copies was sold out. The first edition of the EP came with four colored pencils and a coloring book. The first edition was only available from Hot Topic and Merchnow .
Due to several line-up changes, Beeler was the only remaining founding member of the group until the end of the band in 2009. During a tour of the group in May 2008, Vic Fuentes was quickly integrated into the group as the second guitarist.
Music genre
Compared to Chiodos , which can be assigned to post-hardcore , the musicians at Cinematic Sunrise played a mixture of pop-punk and pop-rock with friendlier lyrics than at Chiodos.
