Clara Harris - Desperate Revenge (Original title: Suburban Madness ) is an American drama from 2004. Directed by Robert Dornhelm , the screenplay was written by Kimberlee Reed based on a media report by Skip Hollandsworth .
action
The plot is told from the perspective of Houston- based private investigator Bobbi Bacha, who testifies in court about the background of an act committed six months ago. Meanwhile, Bacha's daughter is planning the wedding.
In Texas living dentist Clara Harris is married to David, who exercises the same profession. Both have children from previous relationships. David hires a divorced woman with whom he has an affair. Clara instructs Bacha to investigate. One day she runs over David several times in her car, who suffers head injuries and dies as a result. Harris is charged with murder.
Reviews
David Nusair wrote in Reel Film Reviews that the plot focuses on the character of Bobbi Bacha; this thread of the plot is "extremely melodramatic" and hardly arouses interest. The "talented" Sela Ward deserved better.
