The 2011 Clarkson Cup was the third edition of the competition of the same name between four representatives of the Canadian Women's Hockey League and the Western Women's Hockey League . The tournament was in the 24 to 27 March 2011 Barrie Molson Center in Barrie in the province of Ontario held.
The Stars de Montréal from the CWHL reached the final without losing points and defeated the Toronto Eros 5-0 in the subsequent final , thus winning the Clarkson Cup donated in 2005 for the second time. The trophy was presented by Kyra Clarkson, the daughter of the founder Adrienne Clarkson .
mode
After only one semi-final and one final had been played in the previous year, the four participants first competed in a preliminary round ( single round ) in 2011 , in which the two finalists were determined. The final was decided in a single game.
