Claudio Baggini (born August 1, 1936 in Rome , † September 25, 2015 in Lodi ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Vigevano .

Life

Claudio Baggini was ordained a priest on June 14, 1959 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Vigevano on March 18, 2000. The episcopal ordination of the Bishop of Lodi , Giacomo Capuzzi , donated him on April 30th of the same year in the cathedral of Lodi ; Co- consecrators were Paolo Magnani , Bishop of Treviso , and Giovanni Locatelli , Bishop Emeritus of Vigevano. The solemn inauguration ( enthronement ) took place on June 18 of the same year.

On March 12, 2011, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.

Claudio Baggini was a Grand Officer of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem .
