Claudio Bellini

Claudio Francesco Bellini (* 1963 in Milan , Italy ) is an Italian architect and product designer . Much of his work has received awards.

Life and work

The son of the designer Mario Bellini lives and works in Milan . He completed his studies in architecture and industrial design at the Politecnico of Milan from the 1990 levels. From 1990 to 1996 he worked for Mario Bellini Associati and took part in international projects and competitions in the field of design and architecture. Claudio Bellini founded the Atelier Bellini in 1996 . In 1998 he developed the TW Collection (Frezza) furniture system, and further developments in the area of ​​work environments followed. The studio "Claudio Bellini Design" is active in the areas of furniture , product design and architecture and works with various companies around the world. As the art director of various international brands, Bellini has been cooperating with Barazzoni, an Italian manufacturer of kitchen utensils, since 2003. Claudio Bellini has been designing for the South Korean Fursys Group since 2010 and has been cooperating with the Natuzzi Group since 2012 . From 2004 to 2008 he held lectures and conferences worldwide as a professor at the University of Genoa .

Awards

The Liz chair for Walter Knoll received the Red Dot Design Award , the Interior Innovation Award and the Focus Open Silver Award. The My Lady cookware for Barazzoni received the Red Dot Design Award and the Good Design Award from the Chicago Museum of Architecture and Design. The office chair EGA for Sidiz was u. a. awarded with the Red Dot Design Award, the IF Product Design Award , the PIN-UP Design Award and the Good Design Award.
