Claudiu Vasile Bumba (born January 5, 1994 in Baia Mare ) is a Romanian football player . He has been under contract with Adanaspor since July 2018 .
Career
Bumba joined the first team of FC Baia Mare in Liga II in 2009 at the age of 15 . After his club broke up in the summer of 2010 for financial reasons, he moved to the newly founded club FCMU Baia Mare in Liga III . With his new team, he achieved promotion at the end of the 2010/11 season, to which he himself contributed seven goals. He then got the opportunity to move to first division club FCM Târgu Mureş . There he became a regular in midfield, but had to relegate at the end of the 2011/12 season . Bumba switched to the AS Roma youth team . In the summer of 2013 he returned to Târgu Mureș. In the 2013/14 season he rose to League 1 with his club. There he finished the 2014/15 season with his team as runner-up behind Steaua Bucharest .
For the 2015/16 season, Bumba moved to Hapoel Tel Aviv , where he received a four-year contract. After appearing only four times in the first half of the 2016/17 season , he joined Dinamo Bucharest in early 2017 . There it was only used irregularly. In September 2017 he moved to league competitor CS Concordia Chiajna .
For the 2018/19 season he moved to the Turkish second division side Adanaspor .
National team
Bumba was appointed in January 2012 by national coach Victor Pițurcă for a training camp for the Romanian national team. In the integrated friendly against Turkmenistan on January 27, 2012, he came to his first international match when he came on in the 79th minute for Cristian Tănase . After that, Bumba was not considered for three years. In March 2015 he was part of the squad for the European Championship qualifier against the Faroe Islands , but was not used.
