Cristian Tănase (born February 18, 1987 in Piteşti , Argeş district ) is a Romanian football player on the position of midfielder .
Career
Tănase began his career at his youth club FC Argeş Piteşti , where he was brought to the first team in 2003. In your first season you finished tenth. This place could be repeated in the next year. In the spring of 2006 he played at short notice. On loan from the then second division club Dacia Mioveni where they finished eighth. 2006/07 followed the relegation with Arges in the second division, which was eradicated with the following resurgence. In 2008/09 they finished tenth, but the club had to be relegated due to bribes from various referees.
After this scandal, Tănase moved to Steaua Bucharest in 2009 . In the Steauadress he played his first game at European level. In the Europa League he came in the group game of Group H against the representative from Moldova Sheriff Tiraspol in the 79th minute for Romeo Surdu in the game. The game ended 0-0. With the cup victory in 2011 he won his first title. He won his first championship in the 2012/13 season . He was able to repeat this success a year later .
After spending the first half of the 2015/16 season at the Chinese club Tianjin Teda , he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig for the Central Anatolian representative Sivasspor for the second half . After this club had missed relegation at the end of the season, Tănase moved to the next season for league rivals Kardemir Karabükspor . There he was able to stay in class in the 2016/17 season . In the following season , his club was mid-season at the bottom of the table when Tănase accepted an offer from FCSB Bucharest (formerly Steaua Bucharest ) and returned to Romania. In the summer of 2018 he should move to Eskişehirspor in the Turkish second division . This transfer failed in the last instance, so that Tănase signed on to league competitor Giresunspor in January 2019 instead .
National team
Internationally, Tănase played 41 times for Romania and scored one goal. He made his debut on November 19, 2008 against Georgia when he was substituted on at half time. The midfielder scored his first international goal against Austria in Klagenfurt when he scored the 1-0 in the 2-1 defeat.
