Berkan Yıldırım (born December 20, 1986 in Wuppertal ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .

Career

Berkan Yıldırım was born in Wuppertal . After learning to play football in the youth clubs of various amateur clubs, he switched to the youth team at 1. FC Union Solingen . For the 2006/07 season he was accepted into the professional squad and completed 17 league games by the winter break.

At that time he was being watched by some talent hunters. So he moved to the second half of the season to the Turkish third division club Eyüpspor . After he was active here for two years, he left the club in the direction of league rival Elazığspor .

In the summer of 2010 he then moved to the first division club Adanaspor . Here he eke out in the first season behind the right winger İzzet Yıldırım more of a reservist existence and came on only four league appearances. In the second season for Adanaspor he was only on the bench. So he was loaned to the third division Turgutluspor for the winter break . Here you only missed promotion to the TFF 2nd Lig in the relegation phase .

In the summer of 2012, he dissolved his contract with Adanaspor by mutual agreement and moved to third division Giresunspor . After six seasons, he returned to Adanaspor in January 2018 to switch to Giresunspor again after half a season.
