Murat Akça (born July 13, 1990 in Stuttgart ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
Murat Akça was born in Stuttgart as the son of Turkish guest workers. He and his family moved to Turkey as a child . It was here that he began playing for the youth of Galatasaray Istanbul when he was eleven . In 2004, at the age of fourteen, he received a professional contract from his club, but played four seasons exclusively for the youth team and then later for the second selection. In 2008/09 he got the opportunity to train with the professional team in addition to his work in the second selection. In some professional games he was even taken on as a reserve player in the team squad. So he got his first appearance for the professional team in a cup game. In the new season he played again exclusively for the second selection.
For the 2010/11 season, Galatasaray brought defender Çağlar Birinci from Süper Lig relegated Denizlispor . For this change, in addition to a transfer fee, Serdar Eylik was loaned for one season and Murat Akça and the transfer fee were handed in. At Denizlispor, the coach found him not yet mature enough for the professional team before the start of the season. In order to allow him match practice, he was loaned for two seasons to the third division Adana Demirspor . There he became a regular player straight away.
At the end of the season, his contract with Denizlispor ran out, so Akça moved to the first division club Sivasspor free of charge . Here he was used regularly and played 90 minutes in several games. In spring 2014 he moved to Kardemir Karabükspor within the Süper Lig .
For the 2016/17 season he moved to the second division club Yeni Malatyaspor .
National team
Murat Akça has played in the Turkish U-15, Turkey U-16, Turkey U-17 , Turkey U-18, Turkey U-19 and U-21 junior national teams. In 2009 he took part in the U-19 European Football Championship with the Turkish U-19s . Here they were eliminated from the tournament in the group stage.
