Uğur Akdemir (born September 22, 1988 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
society
Akdemir began playing club football in his native Istanbul in the youth of the traditional Turkish club Galatasaray Istanbul . He left this club in 2003 and moved to Güngören SK's youth team for a year, but returned to the Galatasaray youth department after just one year. In 2006 he received a professional contract with Galatasaray, he played mostly for the reserve team. At a cup meeting on December 20, 2006, he made his professional debut against the second division against Kayseri Erciyesspor . For the second half of the 2006/07 season he was loaned to the second division Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor and the entire 2007/08 season to the second division Orduspor .
For the 2008/09 season he moved to Çaykur Rizespor . After just one season he moved on to the second division Konyaspor . At this club he was almost always on the bench and only played in one league game.
In the summer of 2010 he moved to the Süper Lig relegated Diyarbakırspor . This club got into enormous financial difficulties during the first half of the season and was unable to pay the players' salaries for a long period of time. As a result, many players had to be released from work for the second half of the season.
Akdemir moved to the second division Kartalspor in the spring of 2011 .
After Kartalspor had missed relegation in the TFF 1st Lig in the summer of 2013 , Akdemir moved to the first division club Sivasspor . Here he was loaned to his old club Kartalspor after the pre-season preparatory camp.
In spring 2014, his club loaned him to the second division Balıkesirspor .
In the summer of 2015 he moved to the second division Adana Demirspor and a year later within the league to Eskişehirspor . For the second half of the 2016/17 season he moved to league rivals Büyükşehir Gaziantepspor and to Boluspor in summer 2018 .

Akdemir played five times for the Turkish U-19 youth national team .
