Romeo Constantin Surdu (born January 12, 1984 in Râşnov , Braşov County ) is a Romanian football player . The right winger has been playing for FC Milsami in Moldova since 2017 .
Career
society
Surdu began his career with FC Braşov in the Divizia A . On November 3, 2001 he made his debut in Divizia A when he played in the 0-1 win against Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț . In 2005 he moved to CFR Cluj for around 450,000 euros . After two seasons he moved to Steaua Bucharest in 2007 for around 1 million euros . On November 12, 2007 he made his debut for Steaua Bucharest when he was substituted on in the 46th minute of the 0-0 draw against Pandurii Târgu Jiu for Vasilică Cristocea . In 2008 he was awarded to FC Brașov. In 2009 he returned to Steaua Bucharest. At the end of the 2010/11 season he won his first title with the cup .
During the summer break, he joined local rivals Rapid Bucharest . With Rapid, he finished the 2011/12 season in fourth place and qualified for the Europa League . At the same time he was again in the cup final , but lost there 0-1 to Dinamo Bucharest . During the winter break of 2012/13 he left Romania and moved to Apollon Limassol in Cyprus. There he won the Cypriot Cup in 2013. In early September 2013 he returned to Romania for FC Brașov. After a year he moved to FC Milsami in the Republic of Moldova . There he scored eleven goals in the 2014/15 season and won the championship with his team. He missed the preparation for the 2015/16 season due to injury as well as the play-offs for the Europa League . After his return he was team captain for a few games .
In the summer of 2016 he left Milsami and moved to the Romanian first division club ASA Târgu Mureș . At the beginning of 2017, he terminated his contract. A short time later he joined the lower-class Belgian club RWD Molenbeek 47 . Six months later he returned to his former club FC Milsami .
National team
Surdu came to several missions in the Romanian U-19 and U-21 from 2003 to 2006 . In 2009 he then played his first three games for the senior team . After a two-year break, Surdu returned to the national team in June 2011 and was used both in the European Championship qualifier against Bosnia-Herzegovina and on the national team's trip to South America.
