Claudius Alder

Claudius Alder (born March 28, 1938 in Basel ) is a Swiss politician ( LdU ).

Claudius Alder was admitted to the bar in 1964 and specialized in European law, administrative law, civil law, and construction and planning law. From 1973 to 1978 he was party leader of the National Ring of Independents . From November 29, 1971 to November 27, 1983 Claudius Alder was National Councilor for the Canton of Basel-Landschaft . As a member of the National Council, he was a deputy member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from 1980 to 1984 . He was also the successor to Fritz Jenny .

Alder also worked as a lawyer for the pharmaceutical company Hoffmann-La Roche .
