Claus Thierschmann

Claus Thierschmann (born February 14, 1926 - † February 11, 2012 ) was a German officer, most recently in the rank of lieutenant general in the Air Force . From 1981 to 1986 he was the commanding general of the Air Force Support Command .

Life

During the Second World War , Claus Thierschmann was deployed as an air force helper.

Between October 1973 and January 1976 he was Colonel in command of the Air Force Supply Regiment 1 in Erding .

He then worked as Brigadier General Head of the Logistics Department in the Federal Ministry of Defense .

Most recently, Thierschmann was Lieutenant General from April 1, 1981 until his retirement on March 31, 1986, Commanding General of the Air Force Support Command (LwUKdo) .
