Clean Break - The dirty truth (Original title: Clean Break ) is an American thriller from 2008 . It was directed by Robert Malenfant , who also wrote the script.
action
The couple Matt and Julia McKay run a flourishing advertising agency in Barcelona . Matt, who has a drinking problem, has suspected his wife of infidelity since one of her expense reports seemed particularly high to him. He wants to have her murdered while drunk; marital violence occurs.
Matt commits suicide. The case appears to be suspected by the police and the insurance company, which is why an investigation is underway.
Reviews
The magazine TV Spielfilm ridiculed the film with the phrase “nothing but expenses” . It contains "stereotypical figures" ; Tara Reid is particularly unconvincing.
