Clemens Walch (born July 10, 1987 in Rum ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
Walch started playing soccer at SU Inzing in 1971 at the age of six . As a 14-year-old he was accepted into the Federal Youth Center in Tyrol . For the 2006/07 season , Walch joined the second team of FC Red Bull Salzburg , with whom he was promoted to the first division at the end of the season . In April 2008 he signed a licensed player contract with VfB Stuttgart that was valid from the 2008/09 season and was dated until 2011. Then Walch completed his Bundesliga debut on September 26, 2009 against Eintracht Frankfurt .
On August 12, 2010, Walch moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern , where he received a three-year contract. For the second half of the 2011/12 season he was loaned to Dynamo Dresden for half a year and made five short assignments there. For the 2012/13 season Walch moved to Austria for SV Ried .
With Ried, he was relegated from the Bundesliga in 2017. In July 2018 he switched to league competitor WSG Wattens . With WSG Wattens he rose as a second division champion in the Bundesliga, whereupon the club was renamed WSG Tirol.
With the WSG, he was relegated to the second division again after just one season. He then moved to the fourth-class SPG Silz / Mötz for the 2020/21 season .
