Clifton Hill (also Disappearance at Clifton Hill ) is a Mystery - Thriller by Albert Shin , who in September 2019 as part of the Toronto International Film Festival celebrated its premiere.

In the off season at Clifton Hill near Niagara Falls. After the death of her mother Abby, a young woman returns home. She remembers another kidnapping she is said to have witnessed as a child. At least that's what her mother said at the time.

The mystery drama was directed by Albert Shin , who also wrote the script with James Schultz .

It stars David Cronenberg , Hannah Gross and Tuppence Middleton , the latter playing the self-destructive mother and pathological liar Abby. Laure plays big.

Filming ended in December 2018 at Niagara Falls. Catherine Lutes acted as camerawoman .

The soundtrack is composed by Alex Sowinski and Leland Whitty from the Canadian group BadBadNotGood .

The film was shown for the first time on September 5, 2019 as part of the Toronto International Film Festival . In January 2020 it was shown at the Fantasy Filmfest White Nights.
