HSV Clubsport R8 Tourer (2008)

The Clubsport R8 model is based on the contemporary Holden VE Commodore . It is the most important model in the HSV model range. Since April 2008, all HSV models have had the 6.2 l V8 LS3 engine instead of the previous LS2 model . The LS3 delivers an output of 317 kW and a torque of 550 Nm. HSV made this change because the LS3 is the first V8 to be equipped with Active Fuel Management, which guarantees significantly lower fuel consumption in normal operation. In September 2008 the Clubsport R8 Tourer came out. This is the station wagon version of the R8 and is based on the Holden VE Commodore Sportswagon.
