Cobbs Cross is a small town in Saint Paul's Parish on the Caribbean island of Antigua , in the state of Antigua and Barbuda .
Location and landscape
Cobbs Cross is north of English Harbor , right on Falmouth Bay in the center of Antiguan's south coast. Monks Hill rises inland .
The place has around 300 inhabitants.

History and sights
The place is on the important central route connecting the capital St. John's to English Harbor, the base of the Royal Navy , where the road branches off towards Willoughby Bay .
In 1689 Fort George was built on Monks Hill , a mighty fortress that protected Falmouth Bay. The ruins of Fort George are within walking distance.
The place has a clinic and an elementary school, Cobbs Cross is already in Nelson's Dockyard National Park , Antigua's largest national park.
