Colcapirhua is a medium- sized town in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Colcapirhua is the central place of the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Colcapirhua in the province of Quillacollo on the 300 km² large, fertile and densely populated plateau of Cochabamba. The village is located at an altitude of 2565 m on the right bank of the Río Rocha and is badly affected by floods like in spring 2008.
