Colin David Campbell

Colin David Campbell (born September 22, 1941 in Dunedin ) is a New Zealand clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Dunedin .

Life

The Bishop of Dunedin, John Patrick Kavanagh , ordained him priestly for the Diocese of Dunedin on June 27, 1966 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Dunedin on April 29, 2004. The episcopal ordination donated him the former Bishop of Dunedin, Leonard Anthony Boyle , on July 9 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Patrick James Dunn , Bishop of Auckland , and John Atcherley Dew , Archbishop of Wellington and Military Bishop of New Zealand .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on February 22, 2018.
