Plattentests.de highlights the “imaginative arrangements” and “cinematic sound clouds” of the album and awarded it a grade of 8/10. The band also consolidated its reputation internationally.

In September 2012, Collapse Under the Empire released their fourth album, Fragments of a Prayer, on their own label, Finaltune Records . It was named album of the month in the music magazines Zillo and Sonic Seducer . The following year the 6-track EP The Silent Cry was released . In May 2014, Collapse Under The Empire completed their concept two-parter with the album Sacrifice & Isolation . The two-parter from Shoulders & Giants and Sacrifice & Isolation is her most ambitious work to date.

After eight years of pure studio work, Collapse Under The Empire have decided to bring their music live on stage for the first time. The band made their live debut on May 7, 2016 at the Dunk! Festival in Belgium.

In October 2017 Collapse Under The Empire released their sixth album called The Fallen Ones and for the 10th anniversary of the band in December 2019 the retrospective album "The End of Something" and the single "Beyond Us".
