The community association was founded with effect from January 1, 2016 and comprises 13 communities. The administrative headquarters are in Saint-Junien .

Historical development

The community association was created from the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté de communes du Pays de la Météorite and Communauté de communes Vienne Glane with effect from January 1, 2016.
