Saint-Brice-sur-Vienne ( Occitan : Sent Brecís ) is a commune with 1,669 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rochechouart and the canton of Saint-Junien (until 2015 canton of Saint-Junien-Est ) and is a member of the Vienne Glane community . The inhabitants are called Saint-Briçois .

Saint-Brice-sur-Vienne is located about 24 kilometers west-northwest of Limoges on the Vienne , which also forms the southern border of the municipality. Saint-Brice-sur-Vienne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Javerdat in the north, Oradour-sur-Glane in the northeast, Saint-Victurien in the east, Cognac-la-Forêt in the southeast, Saint-Martin-de-Jussac in the south, Saint- Junien in the west and Brigueuil in the northwest.
The National Route 141 runs through the municipality .
