The Communauté de communes de la Touraine du Sud is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire . It was founded on December 14, 2000 and comprised 21 parishes. The administrative seat was in Preuilly-sur-Claise .

Historical development

The community association replaced the Syndicat Inter-cantonal d'Aménagement et de Développement Économique de la Touraine du Sud (SIADETS). On January 1, 2006, the municipality of La Guerche joined.

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes Loches Sud Touraine .
