The Comunità montana del Turano is an association of a total of 11 municipalities in the Italian province of Rieti . It was formed by the usually quite small communities, which are at least partly in mountainous regions, in order to strengthen the region's economic development and to stop the population from emigrating. Further tasks are the strengthening of tourism, nature conservation and the preservation of rural culture.
The area of the Comunità Montana del Turano has a total of 1,319 inhabitants.
