Conceição da Feira , officially in Portuguese Município de Conceição da Feira , is a small town in the northeast of the Brazilian state of Bahia in the Recôncavo Baiano region . It has been part of the Feira de Santana metropolitan area since 2011 . The distance to the capital Salvador is 120 km. As of July 1, 2019, the population was estimated at 22,581 people, who live on a municipal area of around 165 km² and are called Conceiçoenser ( conceiçoenses ).

Surrounding places are São Gonçalo dos Campos , Cachoeira , Governador Mangabeira , Cabaceiras do Paraguaçu and Antônio Cardoso . It is divided into the bairos Centro, Santa Luzia (Baixinha), Pinheiro, Recanto do Paraguaçu, Rocinha and Conceição Velha. The Baiano dialect is spoken.
