Connie Sellecca
Connie Sellecca (born May 25, 1955 in New York City as Concetta Sellecchia ) is an American actress .
Life and accomplishments
Sellecca comes from an Italian family. She grew up in Rockland County , where her family moved when she was 12. There she attended Pomona Junior High School and Ramapo High School . She later studied at Boston College , but dropped out.
Sellecca worked as a photo model and made her debut as an actress in the television thriller It Came from the Deep from 1978. She played one of the leading roles alongside James Brolin in the television film Hotel (1983) and - from 1983 to 1988 - in the television series of the same name . For her role in the series, she was nominated for a Golden Globe in 1987 . In the SF thriller Asteroid Fire - The Earth Explodes (1997) she played the role of Katherine Sorensen , the daughter of Dr. Karl Sorenson , who played William Devane . She played the lead role in the comedy I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus (2002).
Sellecca was married to actor Gil Gerard from 1979 to 1987, and in 1992 she married actor John Tesh . She has one child from both marriages.
