Corey Damon Davis (born January 11, 1995 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American American football player on the position of wide receiver . He played college football for Western Michigan University and has been with the Tennessee Titans in the National Football League (NFL) since 2017 .

college

Davis attended Wheaton Warrenville South High School in Wheaton , Illinois . From 2013 to 2016 he played college football for Western Michigan University with the Western Michigan Broncos in NCAA Division I FBS.

In total, he caught 331 balls for 5,278 yards in four years and managed 52 touchdowns . This makes him the player with the most captured yards in the NCAA Division I FBS after overtaking previous record holder Trevor Insley , who scored 5,005 yards for Nevada from 1996-1999 on November 25, 2016 .

NFL

In the 2017 NFL Draft , Davis was selected as the fifth player and first wide receiver by the Tennessee Titans , where he signed a four-year contract worth approximately $ 25 million.

Davis scored his first two touchdowns in the NFL in the 14:35 loss to the New England Patriots in the Divisional Round of the 2017 play-offs . His first touchdown was a one-handed catch for 15 yards.

In the 2018 season he scored his first touchdown in the regular season in a 26:23 victory over the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles , which also decided the game in overtime in favor of the Titans.
