Cornelia Anken

Cornelia Anken (born October 13, 1967 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German author . Her genres are crime fiction , short story and thriller .

Cornelia Anken grew up in Frankfurt am Main. After graduating from the Bettinaschule , she studied German , ethnology and archeology at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University , where she still works today. Cornelia Anken won the Young Literature Forum Hessen-Thuringia competition in the poetry category in 1991 . Initially mainly working as a translator and non-fiction author, she won the 2000 Journal Frankfurt literary competition . Her novel Fools Games was published in 2002 . This is followed by further publications in the Tatorte Hessen series , which appear at the Frankfurt Book Fair.

Cornelia Anken is a member of the Syndikat , the authors' group of German-language crime literature, as well as the Sisters in Crime .
