Costante Maltoni

Costante Maltoni (born February 14, 1915 in Forlimpopoli , Forlì-Cesena Province , Italy ; † February 1, 1980 ) was an Italian clergyman, Roman Catholic archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .

Life

Costante Maltoni received on 26 June 1938, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 2, 1967, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Thugga and ordered him to Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Pakistan . Cardinal State Secretary Amleto Giovanni Cicognani donated him episcopal ordination on March 12 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Ravenna and Cervia , Salvatore Baldassarri , and the Bishop of Bertinoro , Giuseppe Bonacini .

In 1970 Costante Maltoni resigned as Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Pakistan.
