Craig Robertson (* 11. February 1988 in Stafford , Texas ) is an American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the New Orleans Saints as the inside linebacker .

college

Robertson showed athletic talent early on and played basketball , baseball and football in a variety of positions in high school , both on offense and defense . He attended the University of North Texas and was supposed to act as safety for their team, the Mean Green, but was turned into a linebacker by the coaches . In 48 games he was able to set a total of 381 tackles .

NFL

Cleveland Browns

Robertson was not considered in the 2011 NFL Draft, but was invited to a trial by the Cleveland Browns in December . Because of the performances shown there, he was hired for their Practice Squad . In 2012 he made the leap into the 53-man roster of the Browns and was used in all 16 games. In 2015 he had his first defensive touchdown .

New Orleans Saints

On March 22, 2016, Robinson received a three-year contract from the New Orleans Saints .
