The Craon is a river in France that runs in the Cher department in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises in the municipality of Baugy , near the Commune déléguée Laverdines , initially drains in a southerly direction, then swings to the west and after around 24 kilometers flows into the Airin as a right tributary in the municipality of Vornay . In its lower reaches, the Craon crosses the Polygone de Tir de Bourges restricted military area .
