Laverdines is a village and a former French municipality with 42 inhabitants (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Bourges and the Canton of Avord (until 2015: Canton of Baugy ).
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Baugy , Laverdines and Saligny-le-Vif were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Baugy of the same name and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Baugy.
geography
Laverdines is located in the Berry countryside about 27 kilometers east-southeast of Bourges on the upper reaches of the Craon River . Laverdines is surrounded by the neighboring towns of Villequiers in the north, Chassy in the east, Nérondes in the south, Bengy-sur-Craon in the southwest and Saligny-le-Vif in the west.
